It's pretty obvious that most people in SME still talk about JYJ and listen to their songs (or even talk to them, like Eunhyuk and Heechul), it's so stupid that they can't even mention the guys on broadcast without fearing some kind of punishment. I wanted a Junsu impersonation by Xiumin, damn it!
Considering his hidden high note power, him singing like Junsu would've been so magical! And he obviously does it in a regular basis, since he actually said "The one i did before?" Why can't we have nice things, SME?! ;~;
I know it's so frustrating. And there is never enough of him singing, it would have been one of those rare awesome opportunities. I hope somehow we get to hear that impression some day!!
But the ones who do mention the JYJ guys are the old-timers and real-life friends of theirs. They can and will talk about them all they want. They have the seniority to pull it off, plus they know what to say and when to say it. Thus, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Heechul talking about Junsu and Jaejoong and Yoochun. But for a newly-debuted hoobae who probably has never interacted with them, it's not surprising that JYJ is pretty taboo. I don't think they'll get punished, but I think they themselves know how awkward and touchy the topic is in general, and would rather not involve themselves in anything related to it.
I know that, I just think that it really shouldn't be a taboo at all. The lawsuit is over, everything is said and done... I know it's not easy, but i really wish that all of them, seniors or not, would just treat JYJ as a random artist from another company. If Xiumin can sing a Junsu song in noraebang, he should be able to sing it on broadcast imo. Well, I know reality is more complicated than that, I just think it really shouldn't be.
