After finding out his identity/SNS accounts, netizens googled his phone number and found a past post he left in March on an anonymous board. His post was on a thread made by an alleged internal organ dealer requesting to purchase kidneys. The murderer wrote, "I'm 20 years old now and have been informed about this world for a while now. I've also seen people a lot younger than me involved. Please contact me at this number."
Suspicions of him either wanting to become an internal organ dealer or actually involved in it were fueled when police found evidence of texts he sent to his friend while in the process of mutilating the corpse. He took pictures and sent them with messages like, "I'm doing it now" and "I'm draining the blood now".
His friend texted back saying, "Don't joke around", and fell back asleep.
During his investigation today, when asked why he murdered her, he replied, "She tried to push me and run away and I thought she'd report it to the police so I killed her thinking I had to save myself first."
When asked if he had anything to say to her family, why he wrote what he did on his SNS, and whether he felt any guilt, he shortly replied, "I'm sorry."

1. [+938, -6] I just really want him dead
2. [+809, -31] This ba$tard is worse than Oh Won Chun. How exactly do you have to grow up for 19 years to be able to do something like this???
3. [+664, -25] Please just kill him
4. [+52, -13] I don't think this is his first time... There has to be more if you dig deeper
5. [+34, -4] I don't know a lot about internal organ dealing... but if he was able to cut up an entire body with just a knife bought from a convenience store, this can't be his first time... And the fact that he turned himself in so calmly as soon as suspects were narrowed down just makes it seem like he simulated this situation in his head already once before...

I know some wanted updates on this case but if this is getting too much for Omona just tell me.

Date: 2013-07-12 02:32 pm (UTC)if so, it's pretty easy to check - if he cut her so no organs were destroyed it means he knew what he was doing, he had practice, because no one besides surgeons and such people would know how to do that.
but he might have only provided the bodies and someone else did the rest...

I'm honestly getting goosebumps from it all, cause if this really is his first kill it won't be his last. It never stops just at one once the monster inside him has consumed him. Ugh I hope he gets put away forever, ide want to know what he's capable of if he's out again in 15-20 years

Date: 2013-07-12 09:59 pm (UTC)Something about the internal organ dealing seems a little odd to me. It's not just that you need special skills to harvest the organs, but you need special skills to pack and transport them as well. I know this not because I'm a creeper but because my dad needed a kidney transplant. They found a match for him a couple states away and he flew about three thousand miles to the state and was prepped for surgery when they got news that the kidney had arrived dead. He was released and put back on the list until they found another match for him.
So you see, even skilled surgeons and hospital staff have a hard time keeping an organ alive during transport, so I can't imagine someone just hacking someone up in a hotel by himself with knives from the hardware store for the sole purpose of dealing organs. You can't just hack out an organ with a blunt knife, drop it into a cooler and carry it around like you carry your school lunch. I don't doubt that he might have been interested in the organ market type of thing but I don't think those were his intentions.
This guy is sick and twisted and I doubt there's reform or treatment for this type of behavior. People claim that the mentally ill should be treated and not executed but they forget that acts like this are not just a manifestation of mental illness, it goes beyond that, and putting him in a mental facility puts the staff there in mortal danger. Nurses and technicians are not trained to defend themselves against murderers nor are they given weapons. A nurse might walk into his room to administer his meds and end up dead.

Date: 2013-07-13 07:14 pm (UTC)That plus his "remorse" reinforce the idea to me that he could never be rehabilitated. He'll forever be a danger to others.
He got caught - let's face it, he chose to give himself in when they were narrowing down on suspects. He thought his entries were vague enough and realized his mistake too late and tried to save the furniture - and now I can't help but think about the ones who haven't...
