Korea needs to stop seeing depression as an embarrassment and start encouraging their citizens to admit to themselves they are depressed and seek help. It's worrisome that some many people in Korea choose to ignore depression because of social stigma it carries.

If he's a miserable and depressed as he depicts himself in his entries, Leeteuk needs to visit a therapist asap. D: Really, workloads and insanely full schedules won't make it go away. Nor will getting a girlfriend, sorry to say. I often see people claiming that all he needs is a lover and he'll go back to being alright and it just boggles my mind. Depression isn't as simple as that and I hope he doesn't truly belief that a significant other will miraculously cure his depression. Not only is it terribly unrealistic expectation but it's a lot of stress put on that potential significant other, LOL.

...I'm just being extra sensitive today because an old classmate of mine committed suicide a couple of days ago and I just found out this morning. I was never particularly close to her but it's still very heartbreaking. Depression is a horrible thing and should be dealt with properly, not half assedly or completely ignored.

I hope that this isn't just another depressed comment on his Cyworld and that he actually makes them seek help. If not from outside sources, then they at least need others that understand that they can lean on.

People are reading too much into it. Apparently it's meant as an inside joke kind of thing between friends and it's the international fans who take things a little too literal. Yeah, it's true they work too hard, they don't get the rest they need and such, but... I'm sure they'll be okay.

I don't think it's to the point where they need to check into a psych ward. But with their workload and lack of free personal time, it's easy to feel down and a little depressed. I'm sure you've all been through it at some point. I'm just happy that they have a support system of some sort even if it's meant as an inside joke.
