not really. sure hitting the roof is more common these days but most groups don't hit the roof. really only a select few do. no boy groups really do besides big bang and a select few girl groups do.. besides those it's solo artists and non idol groups

but yeah i agree that roof hits really just show explosive popularity in that moment. but still hitting the roof isn't something most big groups do.
