So, my theory right now is that Joon Guk lured Suha to the dock somehow, so he could frame him for murder. I think Joon Guk was crying because he was cutting off his OWN hand, and Suha was looking at him with a horrified expression. Idk how Suha lost his memory, but it was probably something accidental? I don't think it was part of Joon Guk's plan.
Ugh all the moments when Hyesung holds Suha's hand were just so sweet.
viki and i have the same feelings for df. with ads and now requiring an account to watch videos, i don't anymore have a drama i am dying to watch with those conditions.
I'm not entirely happy with the amnesia plot but I guess it happened to make Suha question what kind of person he really is? I definitely think his flashbacks are meant to mess with him/the viewers and that Joonkook was cutting off his own hand. Maybe Suha fell over while trying to get away and knocked his head.
I want more Hyesung/Sungbin/Choongki/Suha storylines because they're so cute. I love that Sungbin still does Hyesung's nails for her.
This is my reaction watching ep. 9 tbh. So many things happening in one episode and they played the amnesia card, even (and to think that I was laughing at my ridiculous predictions/guesses on how Sooha would probably be a fugitive or lost his memories) last week. Gaaahh. I just hope they will not pull another kdrama staple ie brain tumour or something later. lmao.
and to my surprise and against my own expectation, I think I love ep. 10 more than I love ep. 9. Sooha looks so innocent and confused and make me feel like giving him such a big hug and singing him lullabies to sleep.;A;
I had my fair share of disappointment on how sometimes the lack of research in the writing department made the drama is distracting for me but I think those things are being compensated by the stellar acting from the cast and the chemistry they have. I can't wait for Wednesday to come *____*

MTE I was thinking about that as I watched the episode. I couldn't believe that one of the highly unlikely possible Kdrama cliches from last week's post actually happened. I was so shocked to see it because I didn't feel the drama was going to use cliches.
Oh gosh watching these episodes yesterday gave me so many feels that I tweeted. I'll copy and paste them here.
I totally knew Lawyer Jjang and Lawyer Cha were thinking that Mingook wasn't dead. I was thinking that since only the left hand was found. Besides, he's twisted enough to do something like that. I will bet a lot that the someone from the case 26 years ago is related somehow to Mingook. And the ahjuma who reported Sooha was payed or threatened by Mingook or someone connected to him.
Oh I wonder if the guy who went to jail 26 years ago could also read minds. Well at least at some point. Watch him be related to Sooha.
My theories: Sooha's dad died as an act of revenge because something related to the case 26 years ago. The guy in jail for that case is Sooha's grandfather and Sooha's dad cut off contact when he was convicted of murder.
I don't think Hwang Dal Joong (the guy who went into jail 26 years ago) can read minds or that he is related to Sooha by family ties.
But, I also think Sooha's dad's death is related to the case 26 years ago. My theories goes like this:
Sooha's father somehow knew something that could prove Hwang Dal Joong's innocence (tho after years he is being convicted)and he was planning to speak to the authority about it so that he could be released earlier. Min Joong Gook was hired to kill Sooha's dad to prevent him from telling the truth.
The one hiring him could be the evil judge ie Do Yeon's adoptive father (he probably had something to do with Hwang Dal Joong's wife murder)and Min Joong Gook was so sure he will not be convicted because there was no evidence plus the judge presiding the case was the evil judge himself. But everything went wrong when Hye Sung came to testify in the court and the evil judge had no choice but to convict Min Joong Gook.
I think after Sooha being released / acquitted (I hope so!) aside from protecting each other from Min Joong Gook who is still alive, both him and Hye Sung will probably go after the evil judge so that the truth will be revealed.
...lmao. It is best if I could do more useful activities rather than wasting my time speculating ridiculous things on this drama but I can't help itttt! I hope Wednesday comes fast so I could stop speculating. xD
the man in jail is obviously seo doyeon's dad tho.. and i don't think he's related to sooha in any way. the only reason there is similarities in the case is because joon gook is copying the case
Also, I wish to nominate Lee Bo Young's and Lee Jong Suk's /hands/ as best supporting characters. I mean, come on, their hands are so great in delivering the feels and made me squeal in joy, cry at how beautiful the scene was and pull my hair as I can't contain this feels inside me. lmao.
'Shark' and 'I Hear Your Voice' are making me so emotional it's insane.
I was honestly surprised by the memory loss but it was kinda worthy to see Lee Jong Suk being adorable while looking lost . I'm glad Lawyer Cha is helping now because I honestly felt bad hating him mostly because of Yoon Sang Hyun but I still want Hye Sung and Soo Ha to end up together.
All that I know for now is that Seo Do Yeon is Hwang Dal Joong's daughter.
Also, I can't get enough of Choi Sung Joon being adorable. And Choong Ki reading Soo Ha's diary to help him was so sweet of him. I just can't OTL
OT, but how are you liking Shark? I thought about watching it, but it sounds so much like Kim Nam Gil's other drama Bad Guy (makjang) I didn't know if it was worth watching.
I thought it was really cute of Choong Ki to read the diary to him too haha. It made me like Choong Ki a lot more.
I'm so happy that I'm all caught up so I can finally join the discussion posts!
I thought the episodes this week were super interesting. There was a lot of crying (on my end) and I'm curious to see how they will be able to clearly place enough suspicion on Joon Gook to clear Soo Ha. I wonder what will happen to cause Soo Ha to gain the rest of his memories back? I also wonder if he will regain his mind reading powers once he over comes his amnesia/if he would really want to regain his powers or if he would rather live a normal life?
I wanted to cry at the scene where Soo Ha stabs Lawyer Jang. It was so sad, and he was so shocked about it ;; And even though Lawyer Jang is a public defender, we know that even if she is mean't to side with her client, she doesn't or doesn't bother trying to make them seem innocent. So you can tell that she really cares for Soo Ha since she told him that if anyone questions who stabbed her, that Soo Ha should say that it's Min Gook and not him which is weird to hear from her.
But I'm seriously loving this drama so much! I found the amnesia or whatever it is rather random though but it brings up a good story line
I loved his acting when he accidentally stabbed Lawyer Jang, it was so good. He had the perfect reaction. I've had that awful feeling before too, the "omg what did I do?!" of course I never stabbed anyone lol... but it's a similar feeling and he conveyed it perfectly! I wanted to cry ugh.
I'm scared of knives so episode 9 really freaked me out
LJS is on fire! I never knew he was such a good actor. All of his facial expressions killed me. That little sad puppy whimper he did when he accidentally hurt her. When he leaned over to whisper in her ear I totally thought it would be a kiss.
Lawyer Oska is back on good terms with me. I forgive him.
Finally watched episode 10. The law on this show makes no sense, the court scenes are ridiculous. Mom's murder case and Joon Gook's "murder" case are the worst, so stupid it's annoying me so much, I can't take the show seriously. Ever heard of autopsys? No way Mom's murder could have been ruled an accident. And they can analyse the hand to know if it was cut post mortem (which I don't think is the case because I don't believe Joon Gook is dead).
I agree the quality of TV "law" in this show is pretty low. It's about as good as TV "medicine". For the sake of the personal relationships on the show though I'm trying to overlook it. It will definitely lower my final rating of the show though.
