the ballad is boring as hell from a musical standpoint. he should reach out to misia's ppl. her ballads r always the shit. god---if daesung ever sung "deepness" i would DIE.

I got trolled by his solo album. .___.; When I first saw the track list and saw "Hello" on there, I immediately thought it was HYDE's and started freaking out. Bu alas, no~ Still an awesome song and one of my favorites on the album, though! ^___^

to the song's credit, it came out a loooong-ass time ago, like in 91, so its sound wasn't quite so overdone back then. also, the original singer, ozaki yutaka, had a really rough rockish vibe going on, so it added more of a unique sound to the song.



edit: sorry if i sound overzealous, i just have immense love for this song lmao. but yeah, ia, i would love to hear dae sing something more dynamic.

Why is YG pushing Daesung in Japan? Why not in Korea?

Who knows why YG does anything tbh, but some people have speculated it might be because of the whole car accident incident (less baggage to promote overseas, I guess). Also, I remember people thinking he has a Japanese gf but idk how likely it is that would affect where he promotes.

South Korea is Daesung's homecountry and he therefore feels alot more ~pressure~ to do well when he stands on stage alone. So yes, probably something with his car accident.
