omonatheydidSinger and actor No Minwoo is back with his solo single "Rockstar" under his new stage name ICON!
On July 1st, No Minwoo released the music video for the title track along with the single, which contains a total of 4 songs including "Alive," "Baby" and "Hello," all produced by the singer himself.
The title track "Rockstar" is of an electronic genre mixed with an acoustic guitar. He is backed by his bandmates Monster, drum master, and DJ Disco.

It just seems like maybe he wanted to get the spotlight, which he wouldn't get as the drummer (Unless he was Yoshiki. To be honest, he probably thought he was Yoshiki's prodigy when they started out and thought they'd immediately blow up since they were under his wing)
I hate to say it, but seeing him pursue so many things but not be good at any of them is making it painfully obvious he's chasing fame. You don't have to start off good, but if you're going to go down a path you should be willing to stick with it and improve.
And you know, if it was just a bad song, I could just walk away rolling my eyes at yet another bad attempt to branch out. But Minwoo imitating Miyavi kind of insulted me as a fan. If you're not going to try, then there's no reason I should either. I think I can officially step away as a Noh Minwoo fan, and just hold a place in my memories for the badass that was Rose.
