Popular girl group 2NE1 will be returning on July 8 with their new song “Falling in Love.”
YG Entertainment revealed a teaser poster in the early hours of July 1 containing the date of the single release, signaling the start of the group’s activities.
The teaser poster gives a cool sensation with the neon letters “Falling in Love” in a background of lush palm trees.
This is 2NE1′s first new song since “I Love You” was released a year ago. 2NE1 plans to release a new song every month until October. While many popular girl groups have taken over the charts in the first half of the year, music chart rulers 2NE1 is expected to take the top ranks by storm in the second-half of the year with their new songs.
The group’s first single “Falling in Love” is a reggae song, a genre 2NE1 is showcasing for the first time. Along with the fact that the genre goes well with summer, the song is expected to gain popularity among hardcore fans and the public because it contains all of 2NE1′s personalitly and strengths.
2NE1 has recently completed filming for their music videos, and are throwing themselves into preparing for their comeback with their new choreographer.
YG is planning the album releases and promotional activities of many of their artists starting with 2NE1, including Kang Seung-yoon, G-Dragon and Taeyang.
