Girl group 4minute has swept #1s on 7 music charts for their new song ‘Is it Poppin’

Released on the 28th, 4minute’s ‘Is it Poppin’ was crowned first on 7 out of 9 major music charts, which are Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, SoriBada and many more. The song also took the top spot – 3rd and 9th on Melon and Cyworld charts respectively.

‘Is It Poppin’ is the latest release followed by ‘What’s Your Name’ that took the chart by storm in May with its long-run records. 4minute and Brave Brothers once again collaborated for this song this time round.

The song portrays a girlfriend’s bittersweet love and jealousy, while expressing her innocent and young heart as she waits for her boyfriend that plays outside to return every night.

The music source which was released today, together with an MV, have gained hot responses from local and foreigner fans. 4minute’s sprinklers and ‘water-splashed dance’ in the MV is expected to bring a cool and refreshing performance on stage soon.

Meanwhile, 4minute will be making their first comeback stage on the coming 30th at SBS ‘Inkigayo’.

4Minute is my favorite group so I like pretty much everything they release but all of their previous singles by S. Tiger were outstanding.

They were such solid pop songs... WYN and It's Poppin' are nice but... not nearly as epic as their previous singles.
