Whiny Dara? Dara not having enough attention from way back when.........

2NE1's Dara is usually the center of attention but that's not always the case. She recently talked about having her feelings hurt while filming 'Family Outing' with Uee.

The two ladies had been guests on the show a few years ago, and Dara finally spoke up about the experience on the June 25 installment of 'Incarnation'. She said, "I filmed 'Family Outing' with Uee, and I was really hurt back then." The MCs said, "I heard you said you'd never film with Uee ever again."

She quickly corrected them and stated, "It's not that. It's just that I filmed 'Family Outing' with Uee, but all the focus was solely on Uee, so I was hurt. Usually, I'm shy, but I went on the show by myself anyways. The label told me it would be okay since Daesung was there too. But when I went, I just wanted to go home. All the men were only focused on Uee. So basically, I just got completely edited out."

She added, "Uee also did a sexy dance for everyone, but I brought along a hot dog outfit. I'm also scared of dogs, and there were big dogs at the filming location."

Just wanted to say... The hosts asked the guests to clarify some rumors and that's the reason this ancient topic was brought up. Dara merely answered the question and she told the story in a funny, lighthearted way meant to poke fun at herself and all her failure. People should watch the video because the way the article was written gives off a different vibe.

Well i like dara.
And i found her family outing episode quite charming.
But it did come at a time when Uee was crazy popular (like how suzy is now, maybe) so the way the whole thing focused on her really could not be helped.
And dara was a rookie that time.
Im sure her shy personality played in someways but she hardly talked an ddid anything in that episode if memory serves right. Maybe its the editing but im sure if she did something entertaining enough, PDs would have shown it.

I liked this episode of hwasin. Hyori is bomb!

i am side eyeing the fuck of of dara and/or yg for bringing this up/pre approving this topic.

iknow this was for entertainment purpose because brings in discussion and attention to them, after all uee is very famous and popular, but i cannot help be annoyed by this and think this was somewhat disrespectful.

back then when they guested together in fo uee got tons of hate and death threats from 2ne1, big bang and overall yge stans and this only opens that window all over again.

also, maybe i am biased, but when i saw the episode it was evident that the cast, especially yjs and hyori, did their best to welcome and make her a part of the group, making her talk and giving her the spotlight, heck hyori even kinda gave uee the cold shoulder and was extra snarky to her, but was super sweet to dara. during the first episode the focus totally was more on dara until uee, unlike dara, stepped out of her shy shell and got into it and found a part (being part of the dumb brothers).

no, all the men didn't focus only on uee, no she didn't get completely edited out, her screen time wasn't that different from uee's, she just sucked and had no presence, i cannot help but be a bitch, but the fault was hers only, the pds and the cast members can only do up to a certain point.

i watched that episodes and sometimes still watch it. dara is just awkward. i think she got fair screen time and she's main attention during dinner time because of her cooking style. you have to talk in variety show, if not, then you got edited out. it happen to everyone on variety show.

Dara didn't mean or want to slam Uee, she was more or less just teasing Daesung and making fun of the situation/rumor. Honestly Dara is very shy and awkward, but if you watch her on 2NE1 TV she really is a bubbly, fun girl with an awesome sense of humor.

this type of talk seems to be the norm with incarnation... lee jong suk got a lot of flak couple weeks ago for talking about iu as well. the emcees basically bring up silly things, ask the questions in twisted, negative manner, the guests try to answer it without being disrespectful, the producers edit shit in and out, and the reporters bite the bait for netizens to go nuts over.

I watched that episode few times and I remembered Dara came across as shy and awkward, even after Hyori & Jaesuk accommodated her so much but she just doesn't have that variety persona. She just boring? But she got a lot of screen time during dinner time so I think that just even out Uee's initial screen time. Uee was fun, worked hard and she looks like she having fun doing all those activities.

And I still remembered YG stans giving Uee lots of shits over egg & screen time, so not sure why this need to bring it up again... hopefully this 'lighthearted sharing' doesn't bring all those craziness on Uee again...

lol no there had been other guest who were just cute and funny not sexy and they did good in their episode. if I remember correctly she said it herself that she would ignore the pds and the cue cards telling her to interact more with the cast because she was shy. not to mention she was awkward from the start and it wasn't because of a dance lol.
