Jang Geun Suk cast in a new drama

It's been confirmed that Jang Keun Suk will be starring in the upcoming drama Pretty Boy. He'll be playing the character, Dokgo Matte, who is said to be the prettiest in the world. The drama is based on the comic book series also titled "Pretty Boy". This is JKS's first drama since Love Rain which he starred in with Yoona of Girls' Generation.

There is no air date as of yet, but I'll update you as new becomes available.

LOL My Mom still claims that Hyun Bin is her true bias, but we've watched every JGS drama (YB and Love Rain multiple times) and she talks about Geun Suk a lot. I just think she doesn't want to admit who her true bias is!

That's too bad! Historical Kdramas tends to be one of the best in term of quality, production and script. And Queen In Hyun's Man doesn't even have that many scenes in the ancient time.

I guess she likes romantic comedy type of drama? Has she seen the amazing 'Sassy Girl, Chun-hyang'?

Yeah, she prefers light hearted rom coms the most. We just started "Shining Inheritance" and I'm a little worried that it might be a bit too serious for her but we'll see. We haven't watched "Sassy Girl, Chun-hyang". What is it about?

Yeah, I can figured out that she likes romcoms. But doesn't she get tired with the repetitive and predictable storylines?

The only saving grace to me for Shining Inheritance will be Bae Soo Bin. :P It gets pretty annoying due to LSG's childish act so I never finished the drama either despite its popularity.

Sassy Girl is one of the best romcoms from Korea. I love it to pieces since the story really rocks and the leads have amazing chemistry with each other. It was written when the Song sisters still at their best since the script was cleaver, quirky and really funny. Its from 2005 but you need to ask your mum to watch that one since the lead girl is for once clever, strong and pretty (which is really rare in kdramas)! ^^;

I was mainly referring to his activities with Team H. But yes, "Nature Boy/Indian Summer" was truly embarrassing but I appreciate that he's doing exactly what he wants, without inhibition and in complete disregard to what others think (speaking about his Japanese music career as a whole, not just this PV). I mean. he's living his dream and following his passion- can't hate a guy for doing that.
