Dara is literally 2NE1's style guinea pig. the majority of ugly clothing and hair styles are given to her (palm tree, that mess in I Love You etc). Funny thing is, she's so pretty that if she was in any other group, she's probably be styled in a very feminine, flattering manner
there was no mess in I Love You only flawlessness tho? ia that she usually gets the short end of the stick styling-wise but feminine =/= flattering, not to mention she doesn't even like feminine clothing (just google her airport fashion)
to each his own. I thought the brown hair was amazing but the pink/purple was terrible. I dont beleive feminine=flattering (I stan for Amber for chrissakes) but I just think that with her looks, she would've been styled far differently in any other group since she's closer to the korean beauty ideal than the other members.I like her tomboy style, when done right, it's amazing.problem is, it isnt done right half the time.
She's looking super basic next to Emi Suzuki. That "fierce" face she tries to make never does her any favors, honestly she fits cutesy concepts better (like Etude House).
Why is Dara getthing these cheap pictorials? She should be in Vogue, Singles, Bazaar, etc. but NO. YG stop sending her to Japan! That face is being wasted because of terrible styles and pictorials.
nah I think she can get it. Her eyes are really alluring and belongs to high fashion mags. It's just that YG made her uglier than how she was before. Tsk Tsk. I hope she didn't become an Idol sometimes and just become a full actress/model. She can be with right concept and make up.
lol do you know how high fashion works? CL would probably get picked over Dara simply on her face structure. Most of the time it isn't about beauty, it's about different.
