This summer is sure to be an intense one. Many artists, more than you can count on your fingers and toes alone, will be returning in the next month and a half with new, exciting and hot singles.
Already, the music industry has been experiencing a large handful of popular artists making a return since May, including Shinhwa, Lee Hyori and 2PM. The competition is expected to heat up this June and coming July.
JUNE
SISTAR rocked the music industry with the released their 2nd studio album "Give It To Me" on June 11th, amazing fans with their "Moulin Rouge" theme as cabaret girls. Joining the music war early in May with "What's Your Name?", 4minute will make an early return with new songs this month as well. However, their official comeback date has not been announced yet, as they scramble for another comeback promotion. But it is known that they have completed recording the single and music video.
After debuting with his country-style self-composed track "Bom Bom Bom," Roy Kim is making a return with yet another self-composed song titled "Love Love Love." The track will be featured on his upcoming first album, set to be released on June 25th.
Revealing their popular suspenders dance with their last single "Expectation," Girl's Day is returning on the 24th with the repackaged 1st studio album "Female President." The female girl group will continue to represent a strong and bold sexy concept with their next set of promotions.
On the 20th, Dal Shabet will reveal their sexy appeal with the title song "Look At My Legs (Be Ambitious)." Ulala Session and Sweet Sorrow is also releasing new albums on the same day.
Rapper Verbal Jint will be releasing a new single on the 24th, YB making a comeback on the 25th, and B.A.P unveiling the first of three title tracks "Coffee Shop" on the 28th.
JULY
While various female groups aimed to make their return in June, the male idols groups have scheduled comebacks in July, such as BEAST and Infinite. While the dates for both groups have not been confirmed, their return is still highly anticipated.
Even before making their official comeback, BEAST has already pre-released two singles ("Will You Be Alright?" & "I'm Sorry"), both having done extremely well on the charts.
Infinite has emerged as one of the leading male groups in the past few years with a solid fandom backing them up. The male group is preparing to embark on their first world tour as a result of their worldwide popularity.
Probably one of the most anticipated comebacks is 2NE1, it was confirmed by YG Entertainment's Yang Hyunsuk that the female group will be releasing at least four title tracks this year. 2NE1 will be tackling on their first reggae genre challenge with the track "Falling In Love," set to be released in July. 2NE1 is also scheduled to release a new title song and accompanying music video each month until October, when their mini-album will be released.
Power vocalist Ailee will be showing a much stronger stage presence this time around as she prepares to release new music, 8 months after releasing her 1st mini-album "Invitation." She has showcased her great stage presence since her debut with "Heaven," proving herself to be an outstanding rookie artist.
Originally announced that she will be returning in July, LOEN Entertainment recently revealed that IU's comeback has been postponed and remains unconfirmed as the nation's little sister is currently in the middle of heavy drama filming scheduling and more. While her album is well under way in the production phase, there are chances that IU's comeback may only be pushed until August.
But the string of strong comebacks does not end there. John Park will finally be releasing his first studio album "INNER CHILD" on July 3rd, with rappers Dynamic Duo, Untouchable (1 and Outsider also confirmed for July comebacks.
XIA Junsu will be releasing his 2nd studio album and is expecting to embark on yet another world tour following its release. No confirmed date has been announced yet.
While not officially announced, girl group f(x) is also anticipated to make a return in July.
Plans for T-ara to make a comeback in July was expected, however, it may seem that plans for them have been temporarily pushed aside to make room for Coed's girl sub-unit 5Dolls to make a comeback instead. They are expected to make a comeback near the end of July. If they do make a scheduled return, 5dolls will be introducing their new members Nayeon, Shannon and Jihyun, as members Soomi and Chanmi has left the group.

I'm really worried about BAP. Rain Sound would have been bigger if BAP hadn't come in the middle of Jan when the competition was so intense, and now after a few slow weeks, they're coming back between Sistar and Beast's comeback. I hope it works out for them.
Looking forward to the comebacks even though imo recently most songs are getting kind of bland after a few listens.

I replayed the hell out of Dynamic Duo's Without You, I thought Untouchable's YOU YOU was catchy and Verbal Jint's album was amongst my favorite last year; Good Morning is still my alarm tone.
Also yes to infinite / b.a.p / MYNAME and Junsu.
I'm glad IU is making a comeback, even if it's postponed. I'd rather she finish filming that wreck of a drama and then focus on her music promotions rather than getting exhausted by overwhelming schedules. well if there's one positive thing the drama is doing, at least she's slowly getting out of that mire in terms of public perception.
