‘Monstar’ Redefines 2NE1’s ‘I Am the Best’ with Beatboxing

Mnet’s Monstar has revived 2NE1’s hit song, I Am The Best, in a completely new way.
On the June 14 episode, Monstar′s Cha Do Nam, played by comedian Lee Kyu Sun, proves that music is something he can do but chooses not to.
Cha Do Nam grabs the microphone and begins to beatbox to 2NE1’s I Am the Best, shocking everyone in the studio.
He’s later joined by Kang Eui Shik’s character, Park Kyu Dong, who used to be Cha Do Nam’s best friend in the past. Together, they perform for the first in many years, explaining Park Kyu Dong’s overexcitement during the scene.
The flawless beatboxing was revealed to have been done personally by Lee Kyu Sun, impressing viewers even more. (op's note: as far as i know, the music performances bits in monstar are live, so hats off)

- The Mimi sisters scene cracks me up every time I replayed it.
- Eunha's vision is sad to me. She's bubbly on the outside, but deep down she's really lonely!! Seolchan, help her!!! :(

I enjoyed this episode! It was nice getting a little bit more of the backstories, and I really enjoyed the beatboxing! I'm looking forward to the next episode, I wish there was two episodes a week because I feel like it's kind of difficult to build momentum as a viewer.

Can I just say the highlight of this whole episode for me was Cha Do Nam's (Lee Kyu Sun's) beatboxing performance!! That guy blew me away!!! I've never heard beatboxing quite like it, I loved it :)
There were some other great moments but none that made me stand up out of my seat and shout out DAEBAK like I did for that.

I'm starting to have a problem with Sulchan. There are moments I'm like..ooo he's a cutie then moments where I just want to be like that ahjusshi and tell him all about himself so he can shut the heck up.

I want to know more about Radio and Do Nam's friendship and also more about Nana. I'm still not satisfied with has been told about Sun Woo. I insist that he seems kind of shady.
