B1A4 finishes activities, “Slow recovery on Baro’s ankle”

Group B1A4 sadly ends activities with Baro’s ankle injury.

On June 17th, company WM Entertainment revealed, “B1A4 prepared for a long time to perform their follow-up song, ‘Starlight Song.’ However, because of Baro’s ankle injury, unfortunately, we decided to end their activities.”

On B1A4’s stage performance 5 days ago, Baro missed a step and stretched a ligament in his foot, causing the ankle injury. After seeing the (test) results, they decided to continue with ‘Starlight Song.’ However, Baro’s recovery was slower than expected; thus, they unfortunately had to stop their activities.

Through the company, the doctor appointed for Baro’s injury said, “He can walk, move, and do regular movements. As for dancing on stage or heavy exercise, he has to avoid doing those.”

A company representative said, “The members, as well, feel unfortunate not being able to show the fans their follow-up song. There will be a chance when they’re able to perform it for fans. Please patiently wait and keep supporting until they come back with an even more developed skills.”

Meanwhile, B1A4’s song ‘What’s Going On’ have been climbing up the sales rank to top 1 for two weeks

B1A4’s Cosmopolitan pictorial interview was released.

On June 17th, Cosmopolitan revealed B1A4’s pictorial interview.

Because of the five, powerful men who gathered at the filming location, the staffs laughter was endless, reminding them of the Gag Concert filming. Especially for Baro, who twisted his ankle - he didn’t complain about his injury and worked really hard during the shoot.

This time, their song, “What’s Going On?” competed with their sunbae, Lee Hyori, for the #1 spot. They confessed, “We couldn’t believe it, we thought they called the wrong name. We were really embarrassed on our first encore stage.”

Someone must've told CNU that his thighs look great because we've been seeing so much of them recently...not that I'm complaining
Shame they won't be able to promote starlight song, but I'm glad they're letting Baro get the rest he needs and I /will/ be loing forward to whenever the do perform it

Aww, too bad! That's my favorite song from the album! Can we at least get an MV with cute behind the scenes footage to make up for it? ;~;

This is why i love wment. They know when to care for their artist and not overwork them. Its really a let down not to do a follow up promotion for the album where they got number 1, but hey during this rest we can expect more good songs to be made for their next comeback :)

awww i'm disappointed they're not doing follow-up promos :( why can't the follow-up song just be postponed until baro heals? i guess they have other plans for later in the year. it is a good thing that their label knows better than to overwork them, though.

May the good Lord bless whoever keeps putting them in shorts. Especially CNU with his hotpants, saints preserve us.

Sucks about them putting off follow-ups, but yay for letting an injured member recover instead of forcing them on stage! I continue to stan WMEnt.
