LINGUISTIC GENIUS KWON YURI GETS INSTAGRAM

On June 13th, Yuri opened an Instagram account under the username yulyulk and shared a photo of herself from Girls’ Generation’s “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” tour.

Yuri is now the third member of Girls’ Generation to join the photo sharing service, following Taeyeonand Hyoyeon. Taeyeon recently uploaded a photo of herself and the members of Girls’ Generation from the world tour concerts in Seoul, and included a caption tagging both Hyoyeon and Yuri.

All of the photos Taeyeon and Hyoyeon have uploaded and their captions can also be found on Soshified. Yuri’s photos will be shown and updated with their captions translated as well.

I have been seeing "Instagram pics" of her on my tumblr today and was like "Ha, Yuri has one?!" I always wanted to make one and NOW I've a really, really good reason too! YEAH~~

the difference is that ufo is stricly for koreans, instagram is international. I think it's rude that they will upload a picture and only write the caption in korean and reply in korean when she can see everyone else is writing her in english and they clearly can't understand what she said. they only do that because they know ssf will translate later which is lazy as fuck.

i guess we just have different opinions on this, which i respect, because i don't see it as rude. there are plenty of other famous people on instagram that don't speak english so i never saw it as a problem.

I'm not saying that just because someone is on instagram they should speak in english, but rather communicate in the primary language of their target audience within measure of capacity. For example, key and hyoyeon both write in english even though they make mistakes they are able to get their message across.
