Behind the scenes of After School's "First Love" mv

While viewers may have enjoyed watching the sophisticated dancing in After School's latest MV "First Love," it did not come without wounds.

Although their hard work may have paid off, the members of After School had to endure some serious pains to perfect the aesthetic choreography.

One of the dance team members for After School shared photos where they were bandaged up and had bruises on their legs. Along with the photo, she tweeted, "Arrived at practice room together with After School ~ During all this time, taping every inch of hand that was injured ... Applying pain relief patch on sore and bruised legs ... We ended the day with their diligent work ethic today. Now is only the beginning! Everyone hwaiting!"

The live was amazing but with crazy idol schedules what happens if something goes wrong? One of the girl heaven forbid falls off the pole. I just hope this promo goes off without a hitch and Pledis is taking care of the girls. Stay safe AS.

I think pole dancers usually get bruises in the beginning, until their bodies get used to it. But still, ow that looks painful, especially if they had to practice with the bruises still unhealed.

one time someone told me i had "stripper legs" and i didnt get it but apparently they meant that cause i have lots of bruises (not from a pole though...)*

no problem! i love pole. it really is that harsh (maybe more so for them cause they do it for more than two hours everyday im guessing and learning lots of heavy stuff in a few months, a year tops) had to quit cause of an eye condition :( but i encourage you to try it out if youre interested. i just live vicariously through other dancers now lol

their legs look like my arms did when i was in high school and we started doing stunts in cheerleading lmao poor bbs. there is no way it was fun to keep practicing with dem bruises bowing tbh.

pole dancing is serious shit. (i have a friend who pole dances) and they get really banged up during practices. it really takes a lot of strength to pull those stunts off. i'm super impressed with them.

lol i've tried pole dancing once and afterwards my legs looked pretty much exactly like that. and we weren't even doing any of the more challenging moves.
