AOA's Seolhyun gets praised for her role on SBS' 'Ugly Alert'

AOA's Seolhyun has been receiving great reviews for her portrayal of 'Gong Na Ri' on SBS' 'Ugly Alert'.

Seolhyun plays an aspiring actress in the daily drama, and she's being noticed for how she handles the childish, immature maknae character. She previously appeared in 'My Daughter Seoyoung' as an acting tutor, and this only adds to her promising acting career.

She commented, "The director has been encouraging me by saying I'm the perfect person to play the character, so I'm continuing to give my best to meet expectations," adding, "The AOA members are surprised by the change in my personality. Everyone around me is shocked at how much I've gotten into character."

'Ugly Alert' is currently the most popular daily drama, and it looks like it's not slowing down anytime soon.

I don't even understand why she made her debut in a girl group. She should have debuted as an actress.
Because now, even if she gets nice roles, she will always be labeled as an "idol actress" and not just an actress.
