Taeyang's better half passed away T_T

Big Bang's Taeyang's beloved dog, Boss, passed away on the 10th.



Taeyang had been asking fans all over the world to pray for Boss who was undergoing surgery for a herniated disc. Unfortunately, it's been revealed that Boss didn't make it through.

The Big Bang member said his farewells on Twitter sharing, "Farewell, Boss.. You brought me lots of fun and joy for the past 5 years.. Thank you and also, hyung is sorry", and "I thank all of the doctors at the Cheongdamdong clinic who worked hard for Boss during that time. Especially, director Lee Jae Yong who took good care of him.. I won't forget it!!"

He also tweeted in English,


Many of his fans, who've felt the pain of losing a beloved pet that was no different from a family member, reached out to the idol with words of sympathy and well wishes.

May you rest in peace, Boss.

oh god... this is terrible. i feel so bad for taeyang and his family, and those that loved boss. it's even worse because herniated disk surgeries are fairly common with vet surgeons, so it's incredibly sad that he was one of the few dogs to pass away from it. i hope the rest of his group are there to support him at this time, too. poor baby.

selfish moment: i have a corgi that loves to jump and i am terrified that she'll get a herniated disk because they're so prone to them. this scares the living crap out of me.

i lost my beagle this february, it is a painful experience. i brought my rabbit to the vet today to treat his ears, and i saw a golden retriever practically sprint out of one of the clinic rooms the moment his/her owner came back to pick him/her up. they - both owner and dog - looked so happy together, i nearly broke down in tears on the spot.

R.I.P boss. :(

sad he didn't make it and spent his last day like that.. rip he must've been already quite fragile.

makes you think about your own pets. I don't want my dog to die.. I couldn't bear to see my little independent spirit in pain and dying, in any place. though I want my dog to spend his last moments at home.

When I read this, I star crying instantly because today my dog went to heaven too T_T is so sad, we were together for almost 6 years, and is so painful to lose a part of your family in that way ;____; but I'm sure they are in a better place now

RIP to Boss, he was still so young >_<. And losing him suddenly like this...
I lost my dog a while back cause we had to put him to sleep but it was the worst feeling. It couldn't be helped but after the dog was gone, everything just felt so empty and sad...we have another one now but I hope that one will stay with us for a while.
