CL responds to criticism about her swimsuit outfit on Inkigayo

2NE1 leader CL is under another outfit controversy after her recent performance on SBS' 'Inkigayo'.

For her "The Baddest Female" stage on June 9, CL wore a colorful jacket over a white swimsuit, and the outfit had become heavily criticized as it looked like she was just wearing underwear on stage. She was also previously under fire for wearing a similar 'swimsuit' outfit before.

Some viewers said, "It was a little too much to wear on one of the main broadcast channels", and "It was kind of embarrassing to watch with my family". Her fans defended her by saying, "Beyonce and other pop stars wear outfits like this all the time", and "It looked cool."

CL was recently asked about her outfit choices in an interview with Sports Seoul, where she revealed, "I'm not really pressured about revealing clothing. I just wear anything as long as it looks cool or it looks pretty."

A lot of this "scandal" comes from knetizens not finding her attractive (lots of "ah my eyes" and "my dick isn't hard" comments). The other is filled with idiots who I guess have never seen a white one-piece and think she's wearing underwear. Either way, these knetizens need to get over it because she's not wearing anything less than your average girl group member nor doing anything provocative. It would be great in general if they stopped policing everything women did in kpop.

The worst to come from this is that international kpop fans have adopted the prude attitude and are saying the outfit was "too much". rme. These people must all run away in horror when they get too close to a beach.

And I assume the people making a big deal out of the "bulge" don't know female anatomy or that clothes shift sometimes.

Given how thin the fabric is I suspect she's wearing something under the suit too for modesty which is probably why it bunched up.
