They've kinda been on point this year in general, I thought SuJuM's album was fantastic as well (Super Show 5 in S.America like what??), and I thought IGAB slayed, plus surprise Henry solo???

this album is actually rlly solid which makes it even more unfortunate that sm chose the WORST song as their comeback single. you could've chosen any other song from the album and it would've been better than wolf. also this album rlly made me fall in love with kyungsoo's voice. i think baekhyun and chen are better at belting but i love listening to kyungsoo (especially in baby don't cry and my lady) the most.
SM always insists on shooting themselves in the foot by picking the worst songs off albums to make their groups promote. People who don't like Exo probably were turned off by Wolf for good, which is a shame because this album is so, so, so solid and coherent.
So good. Who would have thought from the title song lol. I'm obsessed with M's version of Black Pearl. And M's everything. Luhan's voice is so beautiful and pure and clear and I just want him to sing lullabies to me tbh I prefer K's My Lady because of Kyungsoo. I don't like the raps in My Lady or Baby Don't Cry but whatever. I wasn't planning on buying but I think I've been convinced to buy M's
Let Out the Beast is my favorite. I am a bit disappointed with how My Lady turned out, but it's still good. Other songs I like are Baby Don't Cry, Black Pearl,and Heart Attack.
Heart Attack is all up in my alley. It's like my life right now. Totally the kind of sound that I tend to go for. Also M over K any day. Luhan's voice is just so delicious
Let Out The Beast is not very good in Chinese, or at least the chorus isn't. My favourite bit is still my favourite but in the Chinese version so that's good.
My faves are Heart Attack, Baby Don't Cry, My Lady, and Black Pearl.
I would've been ok with Let Out the Beast being a single caz they could still do the beastly thing. Wolf would be better if they changed up the chorus and got rid of the howling & the saranghaeyo.
Chanyeol's motherfucking voice oh my god-- I think Let out the Beast should've been their title track, and the lyrics to BDC make me wanna cry ugh (The Little Mermaid always gets me).
