I think YG is trying to churn out as many OT5 activities as possible especially in a lucrative market as Japan.

Either that or he's trying to compensate in case of future flops with his other artists (ie the new girl group or delayed 2ne1 comeback).

Their contract is almost over. I think they have 2 years left if I recall correctly which it's safe to assume that they'll probably hit the military. At least TOP will. Plus, Big Bang is their cash cow. Not even 2ne1 makes half of what Big Bang does with active promos.

YGE must not have much new material in the works. It just looks like the concerts are to keep profits up and shareholders happy.

I think they do have new material in the works tho. At least GD does because at one of his solo concerts in Hong Kong two weeks ago he said 2x that his solo album is supposed to come out in August. However, this is YGE so who knows.

The past few BB comeback albums have been aligned with their concerts so they may have new stuff coming in the fall.

I saw another article saying the tickets went on sale today for fan club members so theres like 0% chance I'd be able to afford floor seats now. I won't be in Japan until August.

Yeah but I can't sign up for the fan club until I'm there. On those reselling sites the floor tickets are going to be crazy expensive so I'll end up somewhere in the nose bleed section.
