Kyuhyun to release a single with hip hop artist Joosuc?

According to MelOn's "Coming soon" list, Kyuhyun and Joosuc will be releasing a single on 31 May. Joosuc is a Korean hip hop artist, described as "underground" by Seoulbeats but he has previously worked with names like Ailee and Wheesung.

This is what I am thinking every day of my life. I like to tell myself that this could become a reality now that Yesung's in the army: No new KRY material in the next two years, and I personally like Ryeowook's voice but out of the two, I'm guessing he wouldn't be the one SM would opt for when it comes to a solo release.
Then again I can't really imagine them letting him promote a solo album? I mean with the sub units they can still maintain a group image but with SuJu being as all over the place as it already is - Idk if they would really go that last step. (Am I even making sense?) And there's ofc Kyu's two MCing gigs, the tour, the group activities ... he's quite busy already.
I've postponed my solo album hopes to a post-SuJu era b/c it would be a crime if he didn't do it and I still think it's what people give him most credit for?? Looking forward to this song though, I honestly have no idea what to expect.

Or ever..? I mean there was Late Autumn and 7 Years of Love, but they were so distinctively the composer's pieces that Kyuhyun was almost like the "featured" artist. He had a solo on SM the Ballad's album, but that was just an album track not a single... Was there something else?

This is such an interesting combo. Kyuhyun always sings ballad songs so I hope this one is not gonna be a ballad song.
I mean I love him for his ballad songs but a lil bit different song would be more 'fun', wouldn't it?
And SM, it is time to give him a mini album at least. If not now, I don't think you could do it better next time.

I love Kyuhyun's voice but I hope this is something different to his typical ballad stuff -- he sings those beautifully ofc but most ballads KRY put out are boring as balls, even though those are some of my favourite voices in the group. I would probably have been disappointed in a KRY album since SM would probably just stick 10 identical lukewarm ballads on it anyway. I know they have a lot more range than that so :(

This is a forever recurring theme in comments about Kyuhyun's singing and it always leaves me a bit baffled. Kyuhyun sings mostly dance music, electro pop i.e. autotune-y, catchy hook songs. The ballads are a rare minority. Even most of Suju's "ballads" are not ballads at all but mid-tempo dance tracks. And whether or not those actual ballads are boring is mostly a matter of taste anyway. Imo it's about 50-50 boring vs. epic.

Personally I'm hoping for something mid-tempo SM-RnB circa '08-09 (Mirror, Heartquake, Sorry Sorry Answer), but who knows. The combo seems... surprising, to say the least.
