Macklemore might not be the next coming of the greatest hip hop artist, but regardless of color lbr he's a male rapper touching on issues and topics no other male rapper has ever touched or haven't been touched in recent years, and his music is pretty good.

He's pretty talented tbh.

My only issue with Macklemore was that I really do like Same Love and songs where he touches on these issues, but his fun song like Thrift Shop where he tried to touch on consumerism was taken the wrong way and I have people in clubs/lounges wearing grandma clothes.

I really like Macklemore and his music, but i'm especially drawn by the topics of his lyrics.

I'm a huge fan of the genre but in recent years I have felt so disconnected, Macklemore quickly went up the top of my list and sits right behind Common and NAS for me.
