i love an album with a good concept..... but I'm not a fan of 50s-ish music so this album isn't really jiveing with me :-[
where are my dance jams? Couldn't I have at least 1??? Sigh

Sexy. It's amazing what she can do with such an average voice. Her charisma is off the charts.

Really digging the sound of this album. Even though H-Logic is still pure gold, I like this album more tbh. You can hear her vocals a lot better and overall this is the kind of music I like a lot.

"Love Radar" sounds super sweet and reminds me of all those feel good songs that were released back in the beginning of 2000s. *squeal*

And gee I really love "내가 미워요" because it has that 1950s/1960s feel to it.

All in all a nice solid album with a retro touch. It's great to see a mainstream kpop artist trying something different.

Truly great album. I love it that her album has a clear theme that runs through out the album instead of some random songs slapped together on an album like many other kpop albums nowadays tend to be. Also loving that the lyrics of her songs seem to have some real meaning. I also really like it that she did something different for a change even if many of her fans might not be into this much retro and slower songs. Anyhow, she can always go back to more modern R&B dance pop on her next album if she feels like it. In the mean time I'll be happily jamming to this album. Also for once you'll get your money's worth of songs (16 songs!) instead of feeling like being ripped off with only nine songs or something like that.

Oh, and Love Radar, Better Together, and Oars are ear orgasmic. <3 But really all the songs except maybe Wouldn't Ask You (I want to see lyrics before making my final judgement for this song) on this album are great ones. I'm really impressed with Miss Hyori.

It's amazing. As much as I love electronics, I find it refreshing that she stepped away from that and showed something very mature. This is certainly something that will also speak to people that do not like idol music. She does not dissapoint!

I love the retro flavor this album has ^^ I've been listening a lot of vintage music as of late so this really fits my likings at the moment. Interesting and different songs, not instant love but great for lazy afternoons.

"노" and "Better Together" are worth checking out!

There's always the danger of getting too close to easy listening lounge music territory when you do something so retro-inspired. And this is definitely true for a few of the songs here because they seem to go for that 50s/60s sound just for the sake of it, without adding anything new or exciting. For example, the producers wasted the major hit song potential of Bad Girls with its great overall message but boring chorus and the lack of a decent build-up.

But on the other, more positive side of things, the album has to offer so many good songs with a bit of extra spice and personality to them. I think the album's at its best when it takes that middle path between retro pop and modern electronics, especially towards the end of it where the true gems are hidden. Still kind of surprised there isn't at least one mega dance/hip hop track on it that screams 'title track', though.

On 2nd listen, I really love Bad Girls so much. The way she swings the "yeo" in yeoja is just perfect

well damn i applaud for her sticking to a theme! i really enjoyed my first run through, there are some really good songs on here. i like the analog, 60s feel. mostly i really appreciate her not keeping up with the EDM in pop music trend because it's been soulless lifeless and stale as of late

i was in another post n ppl were saying this album sucks.

they need to get their ears checked this is SO SO SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD.

negl, i would've like (and preferred) something more along the lines of h-logic but this album is solid from start to finish. i'm impressed she did something different (altho the vintage look/sound is in now) and did it so well.

i think this album is so refreshing considering a lot of other songs that are out right now. i actually think i like this one better than h-logic, lol.

i like it, although i prefer most of HLogic. I do think this album i could listen to all of it and not really skip any, where as HLogic i do have my favorites. i like the retro feel. Bad Girl i do like, but i do feel like it could be more. the chorus is a little boring and i was waiting for something more. as for the other songs, it has a very adele, duffy, winehouse feel to it with a twist. not completely up to that caliber, but the chill factor that also makes you want to move a little is there.

Where has Amor Mio been all my life. ;; Also love Special (bc cute!), Amor Mio and tracks 13-16. Gorgeous, though if she had a slightly richer/more nuanced voice I think they'd be even better.

Someone please tell me that I'm not the only one that recognized the tune and style of singing of Bounced Checks of Love. It's a classic county western/bluegrass song that I can't remember the name of. It's driving me crazy trying to figure out which song it is. However, Hyori's wiki says the music is by Kim Taechun. Hm. I wonder if anyone else will recognize Bounced Checks of Love.

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ALBUM, AND AMOR MIO NEEDED TO BE IN MY LIFE SOONER. WHERE HAS IT BEEN? WOULDN'T ASK YOU OPENS WITH KAZOO. THERE'S A KAZOO SOLO TOO. KAZOO PEOPLE. THINK ABOUT IT. HOW MANY SONGS HAVE KAZOO NOWADAYS? LIKE NONE THAT I KNOW OF.
