SLAYMINUTE takes home 2ND Inkigayo trophy in nearly four years and 5th total win for WYN

4minute fought and beat both Lee Hyori and 2PM for the first place spot on May 19th's Inkigayo, with 'What's Your Name?' coming out on top.

The day, the first place candidates were 2PM, Lee Hyori and 4minute, but 4minute rose above. When the results were announced on screen by MC IU, 4minute looked surprised and wondered if there had been a mistake.

Member Jeon Jiyoon represented the group, thanking their company's president, stylist team, family and of course their fanclub.

I know that (most of) these wins are just popularity awards and have very little to do with the song but I still... I just think What's Your Name in basically all ways (the song, dance, styling) really, really bad. The only part I like is the little bit where Gayoon sings but that really just makes me think about how awful the rest is.

Is there seriously something I'm missing? Are the lyrics secretly awesome or something? Because I'm generally not the one to pull the "It just sounds like noise!" thing but... it just sounds like noise to me.

I'm open to someone explaining why it is good and that I just don't like it personally (as people do), but. Yeah. Anyway. Moving on.

i love pominit and am surprised they've had such difficulties to win in the past (though wasn't there that one show during immm era that said their popularity was nonexistent? their korean fanbase is weird idk) but, like, i don't get where the shade at b1a4 is coming from. didn't they win fair n square n shit?

But most people have a problem with the ranking system. Korea is a digital country, digital sales should always be weighed more... since they always sell more except for a few choice groups. B1A4 hasn't been able to crack the top 20 on most charts but their album sold well physically because of a strong fanbase.

Music Core weighs them both equally, I think, so they won that way. 4minute has only sold around 15k so far.

I hope they make lots of babies and release more stuff because it's a shame they are given only one comeback a year when you see their potential. Gurls can sing, dance and have that it factor.

Also WYN is my jam and is constantly played on radios in Korea, so yes just embrace their success. Only thing I don't like is the outfits, they got to go tbh.
