f(x)’s Krystal Transforms into a Bird

f(x)‘s Krystal recently met up with model Lee Sora on the set of “Project Runway Korea.”

On May 5, Krystal made an appearance on the 9th episode of “Project Runway Korea” as a special client.





Krystal asked the five designers to create a dress made out of feathers for her to wear in a photoshoot spread. The challenging part of this task was to design it solely out of feathers. Krystal also appeared as a guest judge on the show as the designers sent their pieces down the runway.

Winners from this episode’s round advanced to the top 3 semi-final round. The designers also had an increased budget to buy their materials since feathers can be very costly.

The rules of the show are the same as the “Project Runway” series hosted by Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn in the U.S. Designers who are able to stay true to their style and present avant-garde pieces are allowed to advance to the next round until one winner is chosen.

The dress is pretty, but I hate how they styled her hair and did her makeup.

I've only watched the first two seasons (back when I used to watch every country's version of Project Runway) and I enjoyed them. Don't know whether I'd say it's better than the original, it's generally pretty similar. My fav was always PR Canada Season 1.

I LOVE PROJECT RUNWAY (although I've only watched the American one). Amazing stuff comes out from that show. A friend of mine is studying at Parson's, it was quite surreal when it happened.

The dress is actually really pretty but it needed a haute couture pose a la Karlie Kloss. The hair isn't helping either.

I love Project Runway so much. I've pretty much watched every season at least twice. The early ones are my faves though.

The dress on its own is gorgeous. Krystal with it on the other hand...it's just a combination of bad posing and styling. Why did she hunch her shoulders when the dress literally covered her entire neck?? Why does she have that expression on her face and why is she standing with feet apart like that...she could have angled her leg to show off the shoe a bit so she wouldn't look too much like a...chicken. >__< Plus the hairstyle is so unflattering...they could have kept her hair long and straight to at least give an illusion of length and maybe some more dramatic makeup to add some color to her face??

I like Krystal the most in f(x) but yeah these photos are kinda disastrous. >_>

I don't mind the hair at all, I think they were going for an almost birds nest look for the hair, without it looking too much like a birds nest.
