KBS2's new TV series, "River Where the Moon Rises," starring Kim So-hyun and Ji Soo, is set to premiere on Feb. 15.

"River Where the Moon Rises," a fusion of a historical drama and fiction, is based on the novel "Princess Pyeonggang," (2010) written by Choi Sa-gyu. In his work, Choi reinterpreted the Korean classic folktale, "Princess Pyeonggang and the Fool Ondal," in a unique way and gave it a twist.

Kim takes on the role of the ambitious princess, who dreams of becoming the first woman to lead her country, Goguryeo. Ji Soo plays her counterpart Ondal, a naive but determined man who is willing to lay down his life for his love.

“My First First Love” is a romantic coming-of-age drama about love, friendship, and the dreams of youth. Ji Soo and DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon will star in the drama as college students Yoon Tae Oh and Han Song Yi, two close friends who have known each other for 20 years and whose relationship is strictly platonic. Jinyoung will star as Seo Do Hyun, Yoon Tae Oh’s best friend who develops feelings for Han Song Yi.

Kang Tae Oh and Choi Ri will also appear in the drama as Choi Hoon and Oh Ga Rin, a pair of amusingly unpredictable friends who leave home to pursue their dreams and end up living at Yoon Tae Oh’s house.

All 8 episodes of “My First First Love” premiere on Netflix on April 18.

If this plot sounds somewhat familiar to you, this drama has the same character names and plot as a drama from 2015 starring Minho, Kim Min Jae and Park So Dam. It seems to be a remake but there's been no articles that have mentioned it at all. Not a drama that needed this story told a second time in my opinion, but I really like some of these actors so I'll watch.

Netflix’s upcoming drama “Because It’s My First Love” is a coming-of-age story that explores university students’ experiences with first love. Ji Soo, DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon, and Jinyoung are confirmed to make up the main cast.

Ji Soo will be starring as Yoon Tae Oh, a college freshman majoring in business administration. Although Yoon Tae Oh appears to have it all—looks, wealth, and enrollment at a prestigious university—he secretly feels alienated and lonely because of his unhappy home environment. He later falls in love with a female friend, Han Song Yi (Jung Chaeyeon, who ends up living with him due to her personal circumstances.

Jung Hyun Jung of “Five Children” and “Discovery of Love” and Kim Min Seo of “Little Black Dress” participated in writing the script, while director Oh Jin Suk of “Yong Pal”, "Modern Farmer" and “Goddess of Marriage” will be directing the drama.

“Because It’s My First Love” is planned for eight episodes, and is set to be released sometime in 2019.

Ji Soo's been offered a couple leading drama roles, but hasn't confirmed yet. I did love him in his last drama special (Page Turner) so hopefully this one is good too!

Like the original Bad Guys, this spinoff is centered around a group of criminals, forced together to track down even worse villains. At the head of our team, we have Park Joong-hoon, who plays a prosecutor willing to fight dirty to capture his targets. He’ll be aided by rookie prosecutor Kim Mu-yeol, who is clueless at the beginning but begins to understand the dark underbelly of crime as he works with these bad guys to catch others.

Joo Jin-mo plays a former violent mobster who quit after a tragic incident, who has carried this heavy hidden burden of his past ever since. Yang Ik-joon is a fierce provincial investigator who can turn crazy in the blink of an eye during the pursuit of his cases. Ji-soo's character is nicknamed the “hyung support” because despite not committing a crime, he goes to prison for his hyung.

I really loved the first season and, while I'm bummed it's all new characters, this looks good. I'll just have to cross my fingers this ends up getting subbed somewhere.

Love you, Ji Soo, but I am not too excited about this. SWDBS showed a lot of his weaknesses as an actor and I don't think he'll do great on an OCN show, but on the positive side we get a Moon Lovers prince bros reunion.
