Big Bang ‘My Heaven’ goes up to #2 on Oricon chart

Big Bang’s first debut single has went up higher on the Oricon chart.

They released their debut single ‘My Heaven’ on 24th June and on the day of its release the song ‘My Heaven’ was up #4, and the next day it went up to #3 on the chart. And after 5 days into its release, the song is up #2 on the chart, marking the group’s remarkable achievement on the chart.

On the 24th, at #1 was Kamiji Yoosuke, #2 went to female idol group AKB48 and #3 went to pretty boy singer Koike Tepei. As a newcomer to the industry, it is remarkable that they are staying in the top 10 and moving up the chart.

Meanwhile, Big Bang will also be releasing their 2nd single ‘Gara Gara GO’ on 8th July.

i'm pretty sure that they're gonna end up number 3 on the weekly chart (with like 26000 sold, or something). randomly i thought koike teppei would do better, but idk i've never really followed his or WaT's music.

honestly i was totally expecting them to fall hard after their first day, so that's great for them (though i'm pretty sure they jumped to #2 on their 6th day)

lol My icon has a person from Johnny's Entertainment in it. Johnny's Entertainment is a Japanese idol company who tend to take up most of the Japanese market and they tend to make it hard for outside groups to do in Japan. It's ironic that that my icon is approving when the person in it would be one of Big Bangs biggest competitors ^^;
