Super Junior, "Calm magnanimity even to stalker anti-fans."

Idol group Super Junior has come to attention for their broad-minded way of tackling stalker anti-fans. In the midst of the recent firestorm surrounding JYJ and other idols' stalker fans' overboard actions, Super Junior was also found to have been on the receiving end of nasty actions by stalker anti-fans.

Recently, a thread was started on an online community forum titled "Super Junior anti-fans' actions towards Super Junior". In the thread, many acts of Super Junior's stalker anti-fans surfaced. Since 2006 until now, these people have continuously and consistently been active, and act in ways different from just regular anti-fans. They obtain the key access code to Super Junior's dormitories in secret and enter the apartments or leave behind obscene words as vandalism within their apartment, hang female lingerie on the door handles, directly intruding on their private lives. These people are known as stalker anti-fans. Aside from this, they also obtain the members cell phone numbers and prank call them, sometimes just to curse and swear at them, or spread their phone numbers online, and leave bad comments on the members' mini-hompys (personal blogs). These people are not ashamed at all of their actions and proudly post pictures and evidences of their deeds online, startling many.

Yet it was also mentioned that Sungmin had even treated a group of anti-fans to a meal. In the aforementioned thread there was also a screenshot of Leeteuk's cyworld post where he made a pass at these stalker anti-fans saying "GaeTeuk is the nickname anti-fans call me. I hated it at first, but I'm fine with it now", simply letting the anti-fans personal attacks pass with a laugh. On this matter, netizens commented "How can they go as far as to enter their apartments and vandalize?!" "Seriously anti-fans are overboard" "Super Junior is really chill huh".

I don't get why make an article saying "hey, they are ok with this"...? They shouldn't. Antis or sasaengs are both scary as hell and something should change in SK's idol culture because this people shouldn't have to put up with girls stalking them, breaking into their houses and poisoning their beverages or writing them letters in shit. Companies (SM, I'm looking at you) need to realize this is serious and they shouldn't make it sound any less important than it is, damn it.

Yes, sasaengs and antis irritate me sfm.

That said, I don't believe that Leeteuk, of all people, doesn't care and isn't affected by this, (didn't he had depression or sth?), which makes it worse that they are ignoring the topic.

I think cray cray sasaengs and stalkers is one of the areas that SM relies on their idols for. They really found idols who will forgive horrible behavior, I mean, I think one member of SNSD got grabbed and dragged off stage last year and routinely groups from SM will get mobbed, but their entertainers handle it pretty well considering and often brush things off with help from their management teams.

YG's answer to sasaengs has been giving their groups less overall exposure during promotions and rewarding good fans with great perks like more face time with their faves.

Does anyone know how other agencies handle sasaengs?

stalking someone you don't like just to mess with them isn't cool. It's stupid. And if you do it, If you seriously hate a group so much, there's limited reasons as to why. If you're a male: 1) you're jealous that all of your noona friends like them better than you, and you hate them because of it. 2) you're mad you'll never get with Taeyeon, and hate them because they talk more than you ever will to her. Troofax. Either way, you're fucking creepy and need to stop stalking them.

If you're female: 1) you're mad that people keep telling you that your group (probably Teen Top or something of the like) sucks, and SJ will forever be king.

Or, the last option, and my personal fave, you're just a giant douchebag who has no life and wants all the attention you can get because you're mad your life sucks. (:

1: SM is the biggest enabler around, they eat this shit up and love this kind of stuff. Why is it always SM groups that suffer from such fucked up behaviour.

2: The timing of the article, they're just throwing shade here. The fact that SM is so willing to use their group's misfortunes to throw shade at their Ex groups current misfortunes shows how nasty ass company it is.

As an ELF...let me tell you what I'm going to do with this article.....I'm gonna call bullshit!

As many mentioned before the timing and tone of this article is suspicious, and to me it is an obvious attempt to throw shade at JYJ. And I really don't appreciate SME using suju to attack JYJ...we have enough drama in fandom we don't need more. The whole message SME and some of it's artist have been sending since JYJ left is that JYJ are just terrible, bad, immoral people with no loyalty and that's why they left...because they are greedy, terrible bad people...unlike their other perfect angel artists in SME. So this article is just another attempt at that, and I don't like it. Disagree with them for leaving, but don't act like you or anyone else is better then them for doing something else..everyone is just looking out for themselves. No one is special or more moral than anyone here.

I also know this article bullshit. I remember one incident where Donghae brokedown and cursed out some fans...and it was not even saesang fans. He was at the airport, and fans got rowdy when he and other members were trying to leave and he snapped and cursed at them. I did not care because the fans were acting a fool, but it was a big thing at the time with people saying since he was an idol and a public figure...he should be more aware and not treat fans that way. And this is only what I know of with him. I also remember Leeteuk giving the finger to a group of fans/saesangs taking pictures of him while waiting at the airport, and someone took a picture of it and posted it on the internet. And I also remember being told to take the picture down by Korean fans..."because it would ruin oppas image." So yeah...and these are just minor shit...if fans hide even someone giving the finger....what else you think they hiding? Most of these incidents with JYJ happened years ago...but fans hide them and they are only coming out now because of this war with JYJ/SME/Homin. So fans need to stop living in a world where they think their oppa is some perfect angel. He is not. Stop drinking the propganda juice and learn to engage your brain when you see articles like this....

Does anyone really think if some person walks up to Heechul and slaps him in the face....he is going to accept it with grace and a smile..and then take the person out to dinner? You smoking crack if you think that. Heechul has fought fans before because they attacked other members....this is known. Ya'll need to wake up and stop buying SME and Korean media propaganda. I think SM knows at this point that they're going to lose whatever's left of JYJ's lawsuit and have to pay a lot of damages to them. So to get back at the oh so horrible traitors who are making them lose a lot of money, SM is trying to smear JYJ's name in the mud. It's just ridiculous. SM needs to grow up and realize they can't have 100% control over their artists, which imo they try to have.

And SM should bring anyone else into the whole JYJ thing. Why bring in people who aren't part of the case?

Idols aren't going to just come out and say "I woke up with a girls hand on my dick and that has mentally fucked me up."
Korea and Asia in general doesn't see mental health as part of overall wellness, so I think a lot of idols are going to deal with the whole anti and sasaeng thing in unhealthy ways. In the situations we have seen made public lately, we've seen Yoochun and Jaejoong crack. It's bound to happen. We can never fully know how much abuse they have had to put up with over the years.

I agree. I feel like there a lot of things in the Korean music industry that are perpetual cycles, and this is one of them. (Overworking idols is another.) I don't think there is an easy way to end this, and I have to wonder when the anti/sasaeng thing started to gain momentum. (Couldn't companies get together to come up with ways to help alleviate the problem since all of their artists go through this to some degree?) I think what makes this so sad for me is that I grew up being taught to "love your neighbor as you love yourself" so I can't fully wrap my head around antis/sasaengs. I just pray it would end.

Before I conclude with my comment, I do know and everyone needs to know that Saesangs are NOT anti-fans. They are two different terms. Saesangs love their idols to the point of stalking, Anti-fans are just antis who don't like their idols, period. SERIOUS.

As for my comment: Kudos for Suju for having to tolerate the antis. And poor JYJ, hopefully they don't snap again against their saesangs. THE END.
