2NE1 and SECRET rank in Top 10 on Oricon’s Daily Chart

On November 16th, 2NE1 and SECRET both released their latest Japanese works, which propelled them to the top of Japan’s Oricon Daily Charts.

SECRET placed 5th on the ‘Albums Daily Chart’ with their “Shy Boy” album, while 2NE1′s “Go Away” secured them a 9th place spot on the ‘Singles Daily Chart’.

Considering how both groups ranked on Oricon’s Top 10 in the same day demonstrates the increasing influence of Hallyu in the Japanese market.

tbh 9# spot on Oricon Daily isn't news-worthy. Its better to just leave it alone, than to write a desperate article trying to celebrate how they're at the "top of Japan’s Oricon Daily Charts."

naaw 2NE1, such low sales. Oh well, hopefully they'll be consistent throughout the week at least :) and the girls seem to be having a lot of fun on Japanese radio, TV shows and concert/event performances which is nice to see so im not too fussed about sales.

They sold what 5k on first day? And it tends to halve that the next day so yeah it's not a good debut. Probably didn't help that thier japanese is terrible and their songs are a mess in Japanese. Just doesn't work.
