While making this post I came across more info than I usually know about a clothing brand.

They apparently dropped the accent e from the name and rebranded with a new art director. So it goes that the fashion direction has changed too.

Hahaha yes it's Hedi Slimane, who already changed Yves Saint Laurent a lot. I'm not really a fan, I feel like he has a very distinct and interesting style by himself, but it doesn't always fit with the style of the brand he's working for. It worked for YSL for me but when he first arrived at Céline, he was making Slimane, not Céline.

I don't really care about the é though, my autocorrect put it so I keep it but eh that's ok!

My mom is one of those with very strong opinions, she enjoyed Céline's style (especially the bags, I think she has one she managed to get second hand) but was really thrown off by Slimane's first collection lmao

Haha interesting! I’m a bi too but I didn’t even notice the colors. I just saw that it’s a basic shirt that is simply showing off that the person wearing it has wealth or status 😬 no effort put into it (except the font choice is kinda fugly). my bi leftist self is very ‘meh’ on it lol.
