great post OP, i think you handled it very well. i am a huge fan of f(x)'s discography, they really have some of the best music in kpop. unfortunately i never watched much of their variety stuff, i didn't develop that strong of an attachment to the members although i can certainly tell them apart well. sulli was an icon, an incredible woman. RIP. i didn't agree with the opinion that she didn't bring much to the group. i thought her voice was really unique and pleasant, and idk, she was just a big part of the group's charm.
