That was back in the "YG Family" days. Most of the artists early on were people he was close to or had worked with for a long time (and there are still people like Teddy, Kush, and Jinusean that are still one YGE payroll these days).

After Big Bang and 2NE1, his attention shifted. Acts like Big Mama, Lexy, and Gummy were gone and the only new female acts were idols-to-be or Lee Hi and Suhyun who were both teenagers when they signed. There isn't an active female artist signed to YGE over the age of 23 (except Dara and CL, and it's not like they're actively promoted or releasing new music).
