I don't think so, cause if there were 7 solos, + the intro that'd leave them with like 3 group songs, they would have said something about that I think. For Wings they definitely said there would be solos long before the release.

I'm happy about it lol I thought all the solos were kinda bland. Lie had a good instrumental and Mama was a cool performance but that was about it.

but the reason I said it's apparently over is: in vlive last cb, namjoon did say how hard it was to write mic drop because of they've overcome the negativity and hate campaigns. then wings tour final vcr showed them walking away from the past.

airplane was about being positive and thankful -- how hoseok was doing well, succeeded in life, and is happy. Etc. So airplane could be the mature more positive replacement to cyphers.

that's fine! There's certain songs fandom generally love or hate that I have the opposite feeling for (like I love Miss Right and am meh about Converse High)

and no problem. BTS has so much stuff, it can be hard to stay on top of things lol

I love mic drop a lot but yeah the lyrics aren't amazing. Rather than content, there's some interesting wordplay that rapline does in that song imo

I can see where you’re coming from but I feel that was the ultimate kiss off song. Yes, they are saying I have all of these “trophies” I worked hard to get it and now the people that hated me, doubted me & mocked me, I won’t have to talk about them ever again. They’re literally Saying I don’t even want an apology, I hope you have a good life. That’s a pretty healthy attitude. And it’s wrapped up in a song full of attitude. Personally I still have room in my life for songs like this. It would be pretty boring if people only wrote songs where they are nice & humble. Just my take.
