for those unaware: shinee is slated to hold a small series of dome concerts in february. the concerts were set up in a way to visibly celebrate their past five tours and albums in japan, and possibly serve as their final dome concerts before onew's enlistment. shinee world japan, their japanese fan club, released a similar statement late on the 23rd and this seemed to be the follow up by sm. speculation is that the statement was released because registration for fan club lottery ticketing was meant to come to a close yesterday.

another quick comment but ... nothing can be ideal, i guess. if i had my way with it it'd be done to make everything the most comfortable for the members but who knows what they really want? and none of us can tell them what they can and can't do, i guess. i can't lie that the idea of them going on without jonghyun breaks my heart but the thought of not having them as a group anymore makes me anxious as well. honestly the last week has been awful for me. i'm feeling better every day but i still feel this hollow in my chest at least once daily and i cry at ... everything, lol.

Girl, similarly to what we've all being saying about SHINee here...I hope you know you're also allowed to take time for yourself. The amount you've been reblogging stuff is incredible and fyjjong has become a beautiful memorial. I just hope it's for your own sake and not for the greater sake of fans. <3

thank you. ♡♡ honestly when i started posing the commemoration and memorial messages to him i was mostly doing it for other fans though i did find some comfort in it. but it started to get overwhelming by, like, thursday and i realized it'd kind of ... slowed down? my own personal grieving? so i'm trying to find my footing still.

Seconding that if you need a break to just take some time for yourself, don't worry about it. I appreciate everything you're doing, but you need to remember you're grieving, too, and it's going to take some time.

remember to take care and take it step by step, just take your time with this. don't feel obligated to update the blog and take a break if you want or need to, you've already done a lot for everyone and i'm so so so grateful for that

that's a really sweet message. ;-; and honestly it's how i feel and how i figured it's going to go. i can feel myself start to get a little better every day. at this point, when i cry, it's either because: i keep on thinking about the pain that he was in or the fact that we're never going to see him again, or because i'm feeling... an incredible amount of empathy for those closest to him, specifically his family, the other members, taeyeon, yeri, krystal, suho, iu, etc. but it's a process. i figure by next week i'll feel a little better ... and the next week it'll be better than the week before. and eventually i'll be able to think about him without crying often. there'll be triggers, yeah, but they'll be really specific, like that message says.
