................ i wasn't trying to be a revisionist? i mean, yeah, you're right. i was thinking in terms of generalized k-pop while i usually use subgenres to classify other artists: epik high (korean rap), suran (korean indie), glen check (korean edm), nell (korean rock), so on and so forth. i know they all fall under k-pop as an umbrella category. like said: i was thinking in terms of subgenre and how it'd be nice to see more lists made that focused upon those so more people could be acclaimed for their work overall and i'm not the only person in this post who said a shorter version of the same thing so idk.
