Flashback Friday
Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see who was on top for the 3rd week of November, 2011. All the songs by the ladies this week were already posted before, so this time we’ll check out some of their live performances.
#3 Wonder Girls “Be My Baby”
Still my personal favorite WG song! I remember watching this stage back then and was so terrified that someone was going to fall down the stairs and break something. But they all pulled through because they are the freaking Wonder Girls and they are freaking awesome.
#2 Dynamic Duo “Until The Sun Rises (Girl)”
This song doesn’t sound familiar to me, but I think I’ve seen the MV before. I think this is also from their first album back after they were discharged.
#1 Busker Busker “Seoul People”
I don’t remember this song either, but honestly there’s only 1 ½ Busker Busker songs that I can recognize anyways lol.

#4 T-ara “Cry Cry”
I remember the live performances more than this song and the MV. Just because of the trench coats and the cane lol. There are two versions of the song, a ballad and more of a dance version. Both versions can be seen in this stage.
#9 Girls Generation “The Boys”
And after 6 years, I’m still on the fence about this song lol. But this era was so fabulous! They all looked so good. I had such a hard time picking out a performance because TOO MUCH PRETTY.

In 2011 I only had eyes for WG and missed a lot but this stage mix of cry cry is really great IMO:

i cant believe its been 6 years since the boys. its one of the most epic snsd comebacks ever for me. they took a pretty long break before the boys and went international with this song, so it holds a special place in my heart

Even though I got tired of the song quickly after the era was over, it's still special to me.
Loved Cry Cry and Wonder World is still my favourite Wonder Girls album (ex aequo with Reboot)
