What more can this dancing diva learn? CSJH's Stephanie became a dance student at The Korean National University of Arts in the dance major. She got accepted and will start attending classes in 2010.

Her company, SM Entertainment, commented, "She did get accepted. She will be a new student in the graduating class of 2013. She's always wanted to learn more about dancing so she practiced hard for this opportunity."

She's done ballet since she was a little girl and has won numerous dance competitions. Maybe she's meant to do just dancing rather than be part of a group.

The previews for the upcoming Thai-Korean production, "Autumn Destiny (Under the Same Sky)," featuring Paran member, Ryan, as well as U-KISS' members, Kibum and Eli have been released, featuring heartthrob, Mario Maurer.

The joint Thai-Korean drama, ใต้ฟ้าตะวันเดียว / 같은 태양 아래 지평선 (lit. Under the Same Sky), also known as "Autumn Destiny," is set to premiere January 16th, 2010 on Channel 9, in Thailand.
Fans will find out the acting skills of Ryan, Kibum and Eli when the drama airs. From what we see in the previews, they all love the same girl. But Eli gets to punch some guy in the face! Perhaps for her love? I wonder how the drama will unfold... Check out the previews for yourselves.

A longer “special preview” has been released for the upcoming action-thriller Sworn Brothers (which is the Korean title, 의형제), also called The Secret Reunion, which comes from director Jang Hoon, who also directed the So Ji-sub–Kang Ji-hwan action film Rough Cut (aka A Movie Is a Movie).

The film stars Song Kang-ho and Kang Dong-won as two enemies (the former’s a South Korean secret agent, the latter a North Korean one) who “risk their lives on one last choice.”

Six years ago, Song’s character had vowed to capture Kang and saw the agent as he slipped away from a violent scene that unfolded in a busy city street. Following his failure to apprehend the spy, Song is dismissed from his post. Kang, meanwhile, is betrayed and abandoned by his own country. Now, six years later, Song has set up his own investigative agency, and happens upon a face-to-face encounter with Kang. Both recognize each other, but pretend not to. (In one line in the previews, Song asks Kang, “Would you be interested in working with me?”)

Sworn Brothers / Secret Reunion will release on February 4, 2010.

On KBS Cool FM's Super Junior's Kiss the Radio on the 31st, the idol boys of 1991 gathered together, including Key of SHINee, Dongwoon of BEAST, Mir of MBLAQ, and lastly Jinwoon of 2AM. These four young boys have spoken in unison, "Yes, I would really want to invite SNSD's Seohyun for our 91's gathering if we have one."

Jinwoon then added, "I love Seohyun so much that I set our 2AM's computer's password to 'Seohyun'." How generous of him to reveal the password to the world.

On February 17, 2010 the boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki are scheduled to release a TVXQ Best Album in Japan which will contain their best hits. There will be 4 different type of albums. A) 2 CDs + DVD, B) 1 CD + DVD, C) 1 CD, and a Big East Limited Special Edition.

The PV for their Best Hit Collection has been released. The PV contains the songs from the 1 CD. After School is a pretty unique group among the other groups in the K-pop scene at the moment. Unlike the other groups who have a fixed number of members, After School adopts a school system where one could graduate, so there's much freedom.

When After School made their debut in January 2009, they were a 5-member group. UEE then joined After School in April 2009, making it a 6-member group. Soyoung then left in November, with Nana and Raina joining in to become a 7-member group.

2PM was in 26th of 2009 pop culture leading power 30.

Major criteria for the selection includes ▶Cultural and social influence ▶Power to move the public ▶Economic importance and influence in the business of public culture and so on. Even though the activity made throughout this year had a great influence in the selection, we also carefully considered symbolic power, representation, popularity and so on.

The survey was conducted on 64 businessmen, who are working in the related fields of public culture, for a week starting the 9th of December. Method of the survey was for the subject to select 5 comprehensive ‘power-leaders’ that compositely cover all broadcasting, music businesses, singers etc., and to select 2 people representing each category. We applied different weights for their ranks, the ‘comprehensive’ #1 to #5 were each given 5 to 1 points, and each category’s #1 and #2 were recorded as 2 and 1 points each. These points were summed up, and hence the best public culture leaders of 2009 were selected.

It has been confirmed that Chinese fans are planning to take legal action against SM Entertainment and the Chinese sponsoring company for the cancellation of the Shenzhen 'TVXQ Thrid Asia Tour-MIROTIC' concert that was to be held on November 21st.

A representative of Chinese TVXQ fansite Baidu BAR said in an e-mail interview that, "We were severely hurt by this event," and "We could have understood if the concert had been canceled for reasons beyond anyone's control, but we cannot sit idly by and let these deceptive tricks go," and stated that they are receiving legal counsel for this case.

The representative highlighted the forged note of confirmation from the members to state that they would participate in the concert and said, "This case includes fraud. This is the thing that we find hardest to accept," and "We are beginning to take legal action against SM Entertainment and the Chinese sponsor company by asking for Perpetuation of Evidence and other actions."

They stated, "The Shenzhen concert was set by SM and the Chinese sponsor company without consultation after the three members handed in their provisional disposition request so it was an unfair to the members of TVXQ."

Regarding the forged signatures, the Chinese fans showed their disappointment by saying, "In the end, SM did not give us a proper answer." They also directly criticized SM by saying, "They do no respect their singers, hurt their fans and use media play in their favor. Therefore, we will no longer cry to understand or trust such a company."

They said, "We are fans who support TVXQ and we hope that this cancellation of the concert does not affect the members in a bad way," and "We will not let the company put all the blame on the members of TVXQ." They also showed their unwavering support by saying, "We are Chinese fans who grew with TVXQ for six years and we believe in them." They also stressed that, "We hope that this concert does not put any more stress on the members who are already strained from the legal dispute."

They also said, "We hope that people, like the media, do not get fooled by rumors and partial explanations that switches black and white and make the wrong assumptions. We hope that they judge this event thinking of what is the real problem of this whole situation." They also said, "We hope that the public loves them and keeps a fair and understanding eye on them."

The Chinese fans also said, "We are not strong, and we lack experience but we will unite and let the truth be revealed."

Henry of SJ-M showed up at Dongguan as a performer for the first showing of "Ji Qing Dong Man Jia Nian Hua". Because of the recent contract controversy between SJ-M's Hangeng and SM Entertainment, Henry inevitably faced questions regarding this topic from reporters.
