This is not a surprise, if she was barely in the group to begin with. She was dressed differently, she was in separate music video shots, and she was barely in the choreo. I held out hope that things would get better but they didn't. Alex deserves better and hopefully she'll get it now that she's out of there.

I'm not surprised but still disappointed, though I know this is probably for the best for Alex - she can get busy moving on to the next part of her career. At least she's probably come out of this having learned a lot, and having gained a small rabid fandom who will hopefully follow through and support her on whatever happens next.
This could have been such a great idea DR Music! We were rooting for you despite your past history!
I hope the other girls have an uneventful ride towards the end of their contracts

i dunno what her contract was like but i'm surprised she lasted this long. dr music has been coming up with shit excuses for a solid two years.

i saw some fans saying that she hasn't hung out with the other members in a while (according to insta and such), i wouldn't be surprised if there was some bad blood between them. a lot of fans straight up admitted to only caring about alex (not that it's her fault ofc) which probably did breed some resentment

more than anything, I think the remaining members are staying away because they don't want to get on the company's bad side. I mean so many people (actual Rania fans + people who only cared about Alex) petitioned for Alex to be fully included and DR was basically like, "we don't give a fuck." Like the staff--especially Rania's manager--really does not like Alex. He even enlisted a Rania sasaeng who's known for harassing ex-members to harass and spread rumors about Alex so she'd give up and leave. Apparently, partly because Alex would criticize them/their strategies.

I really feel bad for Alex, she's been hanging on to this group for dear life because of the fans. Her American label never wanted her to join Rania and they actually didn't want her to go back for Beep Beep Beep but Alex went anyways because fans wanted her to stay.

...and that's what DR Music gets! And the fact that she was treated as nothing more than a feature as opposed to a full-fledged member...
In the end, I feel bad for ALL the girls, because Alex's fans were their audience. Without them, what do they have? It's gonna be tough to rebuild, but DR Music has been making RaNia and BP RaNia do that for years.

yeah, I feel bad for the other members too. Every single member is in that group because there are no other options and it sucks that THIS is their last-ditch effort. Yina (Saem) left and came back because of THAAD but the moment she had ANY other options she left again. Hyeme has a lot of people who are interested in her (looks, tbh), Ziu has a great personality, Ttabo is an awesome performer but nothing's really catching because everything is overshadowed by how awful DR is.

And DR knows that they're sh*t, they do what they please and the girls suffer in the meantime, because all they wanna do is perform, promote, meet fans and the like. DR Music can't get it right to save their lives. (Perhaps that's just how they want it.) I hope the company's happy with the future results of what they're about to get. Again, Alex was bringing in fans, now it's up to the other girls to do her job. (Because, let's face it, that's what they used her for.)

this. Like a lot of people turned their noses up at Alex in the beginning because "she could always go back to the US" but she's a shelved artist in the US with little to no chance at debuting under the company that she's signed to. This was basically a last-ditch effort for her too
