Flashback Friday
Had two cocktails at lunch because I am an a adult and it’s Friday! Every week I go through this Friday in a past year on the charts and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s see what topped the charts for the 2nd week in January, 2012.
#3 Wonder Girls featuring School Gyrls “The DJ Is Mine”
I had forgotten that this happened. It’s not as horrible as I remember it. They all look really pretty here.
#2 Sunny Hill “The Grasshopper Song”
I keep waiting for my favorite Sunny Hill song to show up. This is not it. I have no memory of this song, but the MV looks kinda familiar to me. And the guy in it is cute. Is he an actor? Can someone ID him?
#1 T-ara “Lovey Dovey”
Even though there’s a million (I’m lying, there’s three) different MV versions, I remember none of them lol. I do remember this song though. The “drama” version of this MV is the continuation of the “Cry Cry” MV and can be found here, if you’ve got 20 minutes to kill. This version is the "zombie" version.
Honorable Mentions
#4 10cm “Sorrow”
There’s no MV for this lovely song, so here’s the best fancam I could find.
#10 MBLAQ “This Is War”
Oh so dramatic MBLAQ! This MV is always what I first think about at the mention of MBLAQ. Loved everything about this era.
Got a tag! I think all the past posts have been re-tagged now! Thanks guys!
YouTubes: Wondergirls, 1theK 1 2, DarkSniper, jtunecamp & Mnet

I only know because they're a fave of mine. All my faves are either ending or not popular enough for consistent news, sigh

It's weird because I think I had been into them for a year or so before this video was release but never bothered to seek out the videos for their other singles. I just stumbled upon this one via one of lj music sharing comms and watched on a whim.
After that I only saw the visually pleasing Like Money (sad about the song itself not being quality) and didn't watch another Wonder Girls vid until I Feel You which dragged me into kpop full force.

God, they are SO iconic and literally made a way for all these girl groups in their and the present generations.

After he finished his military service he had one last comeback with them and left (on good terms) to become a composer instead.

Also this was the point in time where I really wanted Yenny to excel the most. She had such drive back then.

Idk but T-ara's tracks are always like that, featuring the vocals of other people.
