Can I just mention how happy I am to finally find a girl group that I'm super into? Like, I love Red Velvet, Twice, and Mamamoo, but I just never felt the pull to keep up with them as much as I do for some boy groups. Just my luck tho that BP are under yg and we're getting breadcrumbs of content. At least they've been updating their instagram. :)

Date: 2016-11-04 07:44 am (UTC)i would like makeup recs, please. i know nothing about makeup but i want to start doing some basic things like using concealer (or foundation?) to cover up my acne and the redness in my cheeks and fill in my brows, that's pretty much it. i'm not super pale but i'm also not very tan and i think my skin is neutral toned? i've tried cool and warm toned foundations but they either made my face look super ashy or super pink. i don't rly want to buy expensive stuff right off the bat so if any of you guys know any good foundations for $25 or less that would be lovely. also i live in the states if that helps w product recs or anything

Date: 2016-11-04 08:02 am (UTC)Maybelline and L'oreal are good drugstore brands for starting out with makeup. They're sister brands (L'oreal is slightly more expensive.) I personally use a L'oreal True Match foundation.
It's safer to go with a warm toned foundation, especially now that it's (I'm assuming) getting colder. It'll make you look healthy as compared to pale. Also, when you're looking to cover up acne and redness, look for concealers that a little thick/creamy with a slight green tone to to neutralize the red. :)
