Flashback Friday

This week was a freakin pain because stupid 5 week months always keep throwing my groove off lol. It also features a nice mix of songs that I don’t really remember or even really like lol. Every week, I look through the charts for this Friday in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s check out what topped the charts on the 5th Friday of September, 2011.

#3 Infinite “Paradise”
In doing these Flashback Fridays, I’ve always been so surprised at how many Infinite songs I know. Like, I wouldn’t necessary know it’s by Infinite, but I know I’ve definitely heard them before, or at least seen the MV. This is not the case this time though, because I have no memory of this whatsoever.

#2 Huk Gak “Hello”
So, this is one of those MVs that fit a 20 episode KDrama in one MV. Actually, two MVs…the story continues in his next MV for the song “I Can Say I Only Want To Die”. The MVs are really good, and the songs just kinda melt into the background.

#1 Brown Eyed Girls “Sixth Sense”
I don’t think I was ever a fan of this song, but I remember liking the MV a lot and how DAMN HOT THESE WOMEN ARE.

#4 Kara “Step”
I was never a fan of this MV, the choreography, or the styling (lol I really hated almost everything), but I really like the song itself. It’s such a perfect workout song!

#7 Davichi “Don’t Say Goodbye”
What the frickity frack is this bullshit?!? I know I’ve seen this before, I remember some scenes very clearly now that I’ve seen it again…but I must’ve blocked it out of my memory because FUCK THIS SHIT.

Paradise is like one of INIFINITE's best song ever. Super love the 90's vibe of it (its like BeeGees song) and the MV has many different interpretations -- 6 interpretations can be made based on the lyrics and the MV. :3

sixth sense is iconic (i would love to see mamamoo do smth like this) and the album is golden. one of the best gg albums ever.

Thanks for sharing this and have to agree Davinchi mv is messed up. At first I was thinking ah this is nice but then the end! I liked the song though.
