A rep from Chan Yeol′s agency, SM Entertainment, stated to Newsen on October 2, "EXO′s Chan Yeol recently decided to appear in Chinese film That′s Why I Married an Anti-Fan."

According to the rep, Chan Yeol has been cast as the male lead and is set to give an enthusiastic performance. The female lead has not yet been decided.

That′s Why I Married an Anti-Fan is a film based on a novel of the same name about a top star who is photographed at a club by a female reporter and their budding love story.

Meanwhile, Chan Yeol made his big screen debut through the film Salut D′Amour, which was released in April.
