Super Junior member Shindong will be leaving his MBC radio show “Shindong’s Shim Shim Ta Pa” after six years. The next DDJ for the show will be Jung Joon Young.
While a representative of MBC said that Shindong’s departure and the new DJ have not been confirmed, it has been reported that the radio show’s staff and Shindong have discussed the matters already. Reasons for leaving the show include Shindong’s desire to focus on his work with Super Junior and his entrance to military conscription.
After appearing for the first time on “Shim Shim Ta Pa” with Kim Shin Young back in 2008, he became the one-man DJ for the show up until now.
Jung Joon Young was chosen to lead the show as he has become the new favorite entertainer through his variety show appearance in “1 Night and 2 Days.”

It'll be weird though. They've been hosting those shows for as long as ive been into kpop.
At least sstp doesnt have the name super junior on it.

but maybe he isn't ready yet.
wonder what will happen when Teuk is back. will he go back to KTR?

Kangin's been choosing the right programs to do. LOTJ and the celeb is living in my house. It probably wouldnt be good to have him do talkshows yet.

i can see why Chul didn't go back to Radio Star, Kyu was doing well and there was no reason to add him (and no space).
Teuk, the possibility is open since KTR has had two co-hosts in the past. it is just wishful thinking. plus i think it would be interesting to see the dynamic of Wook (junior) and Teuk (senior). i wonder if Teuk will just focus only on SJ promotions first, then at the end of comeback he would start to branch out into other aspects of entertainment? (instead of jumping right in)
overall i'm just happy SJ is still around, and we are getting another album....these radio shows (and MC-ing are a great way to keep giving them exposure.)

Still I thought he'd at least take over the reigns for the interim and then Kangin would be the next DJ. Or maybe even Henry. IDK, I feel sad, and also slightly worried that Shindong's power wasn't enough to bring in an SJ member to replace him. >.<
