I HIGHLY recommend it. I've gotten like...7 of my friends into it and I recently finished the 11th episode of this current season and had crazy feels. It's probably my favorite anime (behind sailor moon of course lol) Don't let the episode number intimidate you. It's well worth it, and there isn't even a lot of filler which also makes it worth while.
