And though Coffee Prince remains one of my top Kdramas, I don't much understand the appeal of YEH. I mean, she's nice and all but I never saw her as that outstanding in any sense.

But overall, this is a gorgeous list~

Funnily enough, I feel like I've only seen YEH in Goong and Coffee Prince, yet her total mastery of those two very different roles has apparently gone a long way in my book. She was such a bouncy, innocent little girl in Goong, but I have yet to see another Korean actress pull off the cross-dress genre as well as YEH. That performance was so good and went way beyond a haircut and baggy clothes. I just thought it was a really un-self-concious, fully realized tomboy performance. Funny and tough but vulnerable at the same time.

And it still blows my mind that Goong was the first thing I ever saw Song Jihyo in. It's hard to go back and picture her as an ultra feminine, princessy type. Even her acting roles nowadays are all kind of physical (I just started Emergency Couple last night -- at last!)

I started liking YEH from back in the days of X-man. She, like Jihyo, had a strong female presence which was a refreshing change from the cutesy acts that all the other female guest had. I've never actually seen her act as I'm not that into kdrama so I can't make much commentary on her skills there.
