Taecyeon Wants to Get Married at 27

Recently during the filming of KBS’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” group 2PM’s Taecyeon revealed, “My dream is to get married at the age of 27.”

Taecyeon explained, “My parents were married at 27, so it has always been my dream to get married at that age. I think if you get married when you are young, you would be able to have a close friend-like relationship with your children.”

He continued disappointingly, “However, I will be turning 27 next year, so I think it would be very difficult to achieve this dream.”

Meanwhile during this show, Junho also revealed his dream of releasing a solo album consisting of self-written songs. He stated, “Nowadays, I am writing a lot of songs. I hope to make a solo album with my own songs, rather than JYP’s songs.”

I wanna marry at 27 too coz that's when my parents got married.. taec and I were born in the same year. Tough luck for us! Unless we marry each other..... errr. LOL

I do wonder just how hard it'll be for the Hallyu stars to settle down and stay in the business (if they want to). Going BY THE WAY I'M MARRIED NOW SEE YA is one thing but imagine what it'll be like for Girls' Generation to continue performing once they start getting married. I hope they can continue on if they want to.

my parents were married relatively young (early 20s) and as a child, I thought when they married was a good time, ideal almost. So I can see where he's coming from wanting to marry the same age your parents did. Now that I'm that age though, I have no idea how they did it and I respect them even more for that.

27 means 26 internationally, right? Idk, I think it's still too young for marriage. Most of people nowadays get married around 30 (or even more) between going to university/finding a job/becoming economically independent/finding a house/etc...
At least in my country most of people don't get married until 28-30 at the very least.

I think 27-28 is a perfect time to get married. You can have the fun and not the hurry to have children either.

I think 27 is a good age to get married if both people are mature and have the same ideas in terms of what to expect from the relationship. I think it would be nice to get married in the late 20's range because you would have time to enjoy each other's company and travel before having kids.

That being said, I would be more then willing to marry Taec next year if he still needs a wife then haha.

my mom got married when she was 21 and my dad 25 (still married! 25 years this year :3) and when I was younger I wanted to get married at 21 as well. now that I'm 21...I want to add at least 10 years xD

I have a great relationship with my dad and he was 40 when I was born. I think it's more about a person's attitude than age when it comes to having a close family but it's lovely to see that desire in Taec ^__^

I would have liked to get married at that age however, seeing as I'm 21 at the moment and still in university...I highly doubt I'll be getting married before I reach 30 =_____=

SK is also marrying old, that's why he says he wants to get married young. Ditto, b.a.p's Daehyun said he wanted to be a young parent, which to him meant being 30 (28 or 29 internationally). Since they're both idols, their concerns (professional) are kind of different from normal ppl, assuming their careers are going well, so I don't think that really applies.
