Yoo Nina at fault for using SHINee’s Jonghyun?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Prior to what was reported earlier, more information regarding Yoo Nina’s incident with SHINee’s Jonghyun and fans have been revealed.

Yoo Nina is currently at fault for intentionally spreading false rumors in order to ride on Jonghyun’s fame. Although that still doesn’t justify what the fans did, she was the one who brought this incident upon herself.

Yoo Nina’s agency continues to state that it wasn’t her fault, and still believes that the fans have been causing chaos by spreading those rumors, and will continue to take legal action.

Some fans left a couple comments on a bulletin board stating their feelings, “Yoo Nina is trying to use SHINee’s Jonghyun, and now she’s making SHINee and their fans look terribly bad,” and “This all needs to stop. SHINee’s reputation is getting ruined.”

Proof that Yoo Nina indeed started the rumors herself have also been surfacing on two Naver blogs, viewable here and here. It shows her posts and how she intentionally used SHINee’s name for her own doing, which resulted in this chaos.

Jonghyun also mentioned about this incident on Shim Shim Ta Pa at 1:18

EDIT*

What the whole fuss was all about:

Basically (what the Allkpop article epically fails to tell you in detail @_@) is Nina started getting into the controversy when she put up a picture of her and a “friend” at a restaurant – she was covering her face, and the guy’s face was mosaiced so you couldn’t see his features, but his side profile (and what was left of the mosaic) looked a lot like Jonghyun.

No problem ,right? Wrong. She spans a whole year (or more) writing diary entries and comments on her friends’ CyWorld pages on how she and “Jjong” “Jonghyunnie” are dating, and one of the comments to her friend, she even says she and “Jjong” and her friend should go on a double date with one of the members from “Jjong”’s band.

Other times, she wrote happy birthdays on her diary entries on the date of other SHINee members’ birthdays, and this goes on and on and on, basically making it look like she’s dating Jonghyun. And don’t think this is all for fun, because on CyWorld, there’s a checkbox when you leave comments on your friends’ pages to mark your comment “hidden” so that only that person can see it.

None of her comments regarding her relationship with this “Jjong” were ever hidden comments – basically saying, she wants people to see them. If she was really dating a superstar, wouldn’t she be super careful about making sure no one sees those comments?

Then, she signed up on SHINee World (SHINee official fan cafe) under a nickname “Mannerful Shawol”, but unfortunately for her, her IP address got tracked, and all the comments she left on SHINee World (saying things like “Leave them alone” “I talked with Nina and she’s a nice girl!” and “You guys are just hurting Jjong oppa” etc.) were… Ta dah… The same IP address as her CyWorld…

This got so out of control that SHINee members started being monitored on every single phone call by their management (because SM started fearing that Jonghyun might really be dating her), and they were cut off from meeting anyone outside of their work for a while (so yeah, here’s where the damage part comes in, for all of you guys saying “No big deal” @_@).

Jonghyun’s close friend, at the request of SHINee World members, wrote a letter talking about how it’s difficult to see Jonghyun and SHINee members losing privileges because of the rumors started by this girl, and confirmed that Jonghyun does not even know what this girl looks like.

Then, Nina doesn’t stop there. She writes on her friend’s page (once again without the “hide comment” function) “Jjong said sorry to me about making his friend write that letter” when in fact, SHINee World members were the ones who had asked Jonghyun’s friend for that letter.

iirc, they only did that because an elf trolled them by saying that a sone had attacked an elf or something and the shawols fell for it.

Yes, but they could have just ignored it. It was an excuse for them to do it, so they did.

lol you make it sound like they would have done it regardless of the rumor that a sone had attacked an elf, which i doubt.

No, I didn't say that. I said the lie gave them an excuse. It was being spread moments before the concert began. All over the internet and with the people there, and it was pretty much shot down right away by everyone. lol Just what is it that makes shawols more naive than the other fanclubs?

to call them naive is one thing, but to call them completely batshit insane because they thought that someone was really attacked and responded by turning down their lights to it is another thing.

but to call them completely batshit insane

...Thing is I never did that, did I? And the original comment never said anything about examples of them being batshit crazy either, it talked about reckless behavior. Believing something serious like that, without even bothering to check (they didn't), especially when the same rumor was met with disbelief by a lot of people, is reckless.
