I feel similarly. I still will always have a fondness and respect for the group since they were a big part of my late teens/early 20s but the music just isn’t the most pleasant to my ears now :(

It’s funny, I was obsessed with this type of sound back in the day and hated retro music but once my mid 20s rolled around I did a 180 in preference. I still like this sound (I love all types of music so it’s natural for me) but I have to be in the mood, I can’t listen for long periods of time.
